Man stabbed in Bossier City domestic dispute arrested

The man stabbed in the 3200 block of Linda Circle in Bossier City Thursday is now behind bars.
BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -
The man stabbed Thursday by his girlfriend in Bossier City is now behind bars, after police say she stabbed him in self-defense.
The dispute happened just after 3 p.m. Thursday in the 3200 block of Linda Circle. Police say 29-year-old Tasia Johnson and her boyfriend 26-year-old Talben Pope were fighting, and Johnson stabbed Pope in the upper body. He was treated at University Health in Shreveport for non-life-threatening injuries.
Arrest report details reveal Pope struck Johnson with his fist numerous times, causing a swollen eye, cut lip and bruises. Pope was arrested and charged with domestic abuse battery. He was taken to the Bossier City Jail, where he is being held on a $75,000 bond.
