SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Police are searching for a man who allegedly kidnapped a woman at gunpoint in West Shreveport Monday afternoon.

It happened just before 3 p.m. at a home in the 1400 block of Doris Street. Police say a man reportedly kidnapped his ex-girlfriend at gunpoint from her home and forced her into a car before speeding off. 

Three hours into the search, the suspect returned to the victim’s home and dropped her off. Police said the victim had minor injuries after she says she was attacked by her ex-boyfriend. Police say the suspect was armed with a rifle and is believed to be driving a silver or gray colored four-door car possibly a Chevrolet Malibu.
