SPD: Argument leads to gunfire in N. Shreveport, 1 injured

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Police are investigating a shooting that resulted from an argument ending with gunfire in north Shreveport on Sunday afternoon.

Officers were called to the 2700 block of Jerome Ln. just after 2:30 p.m. and found 26-year-old Terrance K. Jackson, who was suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the foot. Police say Jackson told the patrolmen a man known to him shot at him during the course of a dispute, and then fled the scene before officers arrived. Jackson was taken to University Health by the Shreveport Fire Department for treatment.

Police say they believe they have identified the man who shot at Jackson and are working to obtain a warrant for his arrest. Anyone with any information regarding this shooting is urged to contact Shreveport-Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373 or www.lockemup.org
