A Bossier City intersection will be blocked to vehicle traffic for up to three days in starting July 16 while repairs are made to railroad tracks over Golden Meadows Dr.
City spokesman Mark Natale says the Kansas City Southern Railroad will be replacing the crossing where Golden Meadows Drive meets Barksdale Boulevard. Natale says barricades and detour signs will be in place.
During the closure, motorists will be able to access the Golden Meadows neighborhood from Barksdale Blvd. via Robert E. Lee Boulevard and from Sligo Rd. via Pampus Ln. and Bayou Dr.
