No one hurt after shots fired in River Market

Posted: Updated:

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Little Rock police say no one was injured after shots were fired in the busy River Market district downtown.

Lt. Sidney Allen says a large group of teenagers was escorted out of the River Market Amphitheater on Wednesday night during the outdoor Movies in the Park event, where "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" was being shown. Allen says that shots were fired once the group reached Clinton Avenue, and several people ran in different directions.

No one was hit by the gunfire.

Authorities say one teenager was briefly handcuffed and patted down, but no weapon was found. No arrests have been made.
