Three men are behind bars after stealing a wallet from a man who was in Shreveport's Sunset Acres neighborhood Tuesday night.

It happened just after 11 p.m. in the 7000 block of Louise Street. The victim was able to flag down police and tell them that the men robbed him at gunpoint. He said they drove off in a maroon Chevy Impala.

Police later located the suspects in the getaway car in the 300 block of West 70th Street, where they found property belonging to the victim and a handgun they believe was used in the crime.

Authorities arrested 22-year-old Shamichael Gilliam, 26-year-old Gentry Jones and 26-year-old Nathan Sullivan. Each were charged with armed robbery and taken to the Shreveport City Jail.
