HARRISON COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

The suspect in a 2001 fire near Caddo Lake that killed two people was arrested and charged with capital murder after he was released from prison on Thursday.

According to Harrison County, Martin Joseph Olds, 43 was an original suspect after a home was set on fire 13 years ago. The fire killed two people inside the home: Dusty Hicks and her uncle, Billy Price, both Harrison County residents.

Officials say Olds fled to Bexar County in central Texas where he was later arrested on unrelated arson charges and sentenced to prison. After serving 10 years, was released and subsequently arrested by Harrison County officials on Thursday.

Olds is currently in the Harrison County Jail, where he is being held on $1 million bond. He will be tried in Harrison County for capital murder.

The investigation into the fire is still ongoing.
