Two injured in suspected drunk driving crash in North Shreveport

Two people are being treated for injuries after a suspected drunk driving crash in North Shreveport Monday morning.

Police say the crash happened around midnight on North Market near Nelson Street just before I-220. Both vehicles were driving north.      

Police say one of the drivers was speeding and rear-ended the other car. The drivers from each car were taken separately to University Health to be treated for minor injuries. They are both expected to be ok.

Police tell us no tickets have been issued yet, but one of the drivers could be cited for speeding and possibly a DUI depending on the toxicology results.
