SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

A second domestic dispute this weekend led to violence in Shreveport.

Police said a jealous rage led Shenikia Hall, 20, to stab her boyfriend, 29-year-old Brian Green early Sunday morning.

The stabbing happened at an apartment complex in the 4200 block of Greenwood Lane. Officers found Green there with a severe cut to his neck.

Police said Hall threatened to harm Green physically after she saw him talking to a female friend. She then stabbed him after he came home.

Green's injuries were initially considered life-threatening and Green was rushed to University Health Shreveport. After surgery, he was listed in serious but stable condition.

Hall was found at a nearby apartment and now faces a charge of attempted second degree murder.

She is being held at the Shreveport City Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
