Neighbors say it was chaos late Thursday night on this now eerily quiet street, after tragedy struck the Vienna neighborhood.
Police say 49-year-old Terry Anderson and his wife 52-year-old Elois were killed in an apparent murder suicide inside their home.
They believe the husband shot the wife before turning the gun on himself.
Even more shocking was that their 17-year-old son was inside the home when his father pulled the trigger.
"Well, her sister was hollering," said John C. Adams Jr., neighbor.
"They say he was standing right there, when his daddy shot the mom. I just don't know, I've never seen it before."
Adams has lived next door to the couple on Tomlinson Street for seven years.
He didn't hear the gunshots but says the Andersons never appeared to have any problems.
"I thought they was doing fine together. I sure did. I had never heard them hollering or nothing."
Several other neighbors, who didn't want to appear on camera, agreed, saying their marriage seemed to be fine.
Police say the Andersons' son was picked up by his older brother and he is staying with relatives.
The family home remains sealed pending the conclusion of the GBI investigation.
The agency right now calls the case a death investigation.
