SAN FRANCISCO, June 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Clearly Kombucha, a Bay Area kombucha company, is partnering with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) by donating 1% of each bottle sale to help build a healthier, more secure future for families uprooted by persecution, conflict or natural disaster. This partnership is part of Clearly Kombucha's effort to help give back to an important cause they strongly believe in.

"We are thrilled to support the International Rescue Committee," said Alison Zarrow, Clearly Kombucha's co-founder and CEO. "We couldn't think of a better organization to partner with. The IRC is making an incomparable difference in the lives of those in great need."

Since May 1, 2014, 1% of each bottle sale has been invested in IRC programs and services that directly benefit refugees and war-affected populations. The employees of Clearly Kombucha will also be dedicating their time to volunteer in various IRC programs.

The International Rescue Committee is a global aid and relief organization. Since 1933, the IRC has helped refugees address the challenges and opportunities of rebuilding their lives in the Unites States.
