Texas law enforcement have captured one of the state's most wanted men.

Kenneth Latham, 47, of Texarkana, Texas was captured just before 10 p.m. Wednesday night by Texas DPS troopers, Nash police and Wake Village police. Police say a confidential informant tipped DPS to Latham's whereabouts.

Latham was on the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list. He has a long rap sheet, and was wanted for simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of a controlled substance and parole violation.

His last known address was in Texarkana, but he also has ties to Miller County, Arkansas. He's been known to work as an electrician and in home maintenance.

Latham's criminal history includes assault causing bodily injury, unlawful carrying of a weapon and possession of a controlled substance.

Texas DPS offered a $10,000 reward leading to Latham's arrest.
