No injuries reported in Bossier City house fire

BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -

The occupants of a Bossier City home were able to escape without injury after their kitchen caught fire Wednesday morning.

Firefighters were called to the 2600 block of Douglas Drive at 10:30 a.m. and saw smoke and flames coming from the front of the home. They were able to get the fire under control within five minutes and rescue the occupants' dog from the burning home.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
