SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Two men are behind bars following an argument that led to a shooting in West Shreveport Wednesday night.

Police say just after 6 p.m., officers were called to a home in the 1300 block of Summers Street relative to a shooting. When officers arrived, they spoke with two men who apparently engaged in an argument inside the home before shots were fired.

Police say the argument led to a fight at which time 24-year-old Jarakeem Williams allegedly struck 27-year-old Prince Hill with a closed fist. After the fight, Hill reportedly pulled out a handgun and fired several rounds in alleged attempts to frighten Williams.  During the shooting, Williams was grazed in the head by a bullet; however his injuries were considered minor and medical attention was refused.

Both men were arrested following the shooting.

Williams was charged with a single count of simple battery. Hill was charged with the illegal use of a weapon.
