Man runs into bank, then runs out after apparent robbery attempt

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Shreveport Police are looking for two men who tried to rob a credit union Monday morning.

Police say the attempted robbery happened just before 9:00 a.m. at the Shreveport Federal Credit Union on Jacobs Street near Fairfield Avenue.

According to investigators, two men drove up to the bank in a dark colored SUV. One man went inside the credit union while the other stayed in the car.

Witnesses told police the man inside the bank jumped over the counter as if to rob the bank, then he ran back outside, got into the SUV, and drove off.

Police say man inside the bank did not have any weapons, no money was taken and nobody was hurt.
