SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

There is a strong possibility that a tornado is on the ground in downtown Texarkana, in the areas of Buchanan Road, S. Kings Hwy, S. Bishop Road, State Line Road and Cheff Road.

Reports of large hail and funnel clouds have been coming into the KSLA News 12 Storm Center.

Earlier radar indicated a strong possibility of a tornado on the ground in downtown Texarkana and is likely to be wrapped in rain and difficult, if impossible, to see.

Those indications included the area of Arkansas Blvd., Mandeville Road, I30 and Oakhill Drive you need to take cover immediately, said Storm Tracker 12's Clay Ostarly.

"You're not going to be able to see this tornado," he said. "If you can hear anything it's going to be too late."

There also appears to be a possible tornado north along I30 near Homan.

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for parts of Southwest Arkansas and Bowie County, TX until 8: 45 p.m. Sunday.

Alerts were sent out earlier this evening for Little River, Hempstead, Howard and Sevier counties.

Storm Tracker 12's Clay Ostarly is continuing to track this storm right now and we will keep you updated throughout the evening.
