A man will head to prison for causing a dead wreck in July 2011.
James Marvin Wells pleaded guilty to reckless murder, assault, and DUI on Friday.
Wells killed one person in a car wreck on Highway 72 in Limestone County. A judge handed down a 30 year split sentence.
He'll serve seven years in prison. The remaining 23 years will be suspended after the completion of a five year probation.
