BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -

Bossier City police are looking for a suspect in the armed robbery of a Hilton Drive business Monday evening.

Just before 5:30 p.m. a suspect armed with an unknown type of weapon allegedly went into the lobby of the Rodeway Inn and Suites in the 3000 block of Hilton Drive and demanded that the clerk hand over money.

Police said the suspect left the hotel with an undisclosed amount of money, then met up with a second suspect. The two then reportedly ran from the scene.

The suspect who went into the hotel is described as a heavy set black man, about 5'10 inches to 6' tall, weighing about 250 pounds. He was wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans, police said.

The second suspect is described as a slender black man about 5'8" to 5'10" tall, wearing blue jeans, a black and red jacket and white tennis shoes.

The hotel clerk was not injured during the robbery.
