Man pushed from apartment balcony, Texarkana, TX police say

TEXARKANA, TX (KSLA) -

Texarkana Texas police are trying to determine what caused someone to push a man from a second floor balcony Monday.

Damion Deadner, 26 of Texarkana, was injured and taken to a hospital after falling from the second floor of Windsor Place Apartments. TTPD Sgt. Aaron Brower said Deadner's injuries were not life threatening.

Police initially thought Deadner had been shot, but later found out that a group of men apparently pushed him off the balcony.

The incident caused the lock down of Texarkana College, which is located near the scene.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the case to call their local police department.
