SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

One man has been sent to the hospital in a wreck in southeast Shreveport late Tuesday night.

It happened just after 10 p.m. at the intersection of Leonard Road and Ellerbe.

Officers on the scene say a green Chevrolet pickup truck was heading westbound on Ellerbe when he ran a stop sign and was t-boned by a blue Ford pickup truck heading south.

The driver of the Chevy was taken to Willis Knighton Pierremont with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. The driver of the Ford was not injured.

Police are investigating the cause of the wreck and routine toxicology testing is being done. Citations are expected.
