SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

A juvenile is recovering from a gunshot wound after a shooting Sunday night in Shreveport.

Shreveport Police were called to the 6900 block of Union Avenue around 10:50 p.m. Sunday to a report of shots fired.  That's where they found that the young, male victim had been grazed in the arm by a bullet.

The juvenile told police he was walking down the street when he was approached by a group that fired at him.  Police tell us there were at least three different caliber weapons used.  More than two-dozen shots were fired based on the number of rounds police found at the scene.

The victim was taken to University Health with non-life threatening injuries.
