Shreveport police have arrested a man in connection to a shooting that left two men injured in the Sunset Acres neighborhood Monday night.
Police say it happened around 11:45 p.m. at a home in the 2900 block of Glenwick Street. Police say 20-year-old Sebastian Taylor and 21-year-old Jamarion Young were shot. Young was shot in his arm and was taken to Willis-Knighton North by private vehicle with non-life threatening injuries. Young was later transferred to University Health Medical Center for treatment.
Police say Taylor suffered severe, but non-life threatening injuries after he was shot in the upper body. He was taken to University Health by ambulance. Taylor is listed in serious but stable condition.
Police believe Taylor and Young got into an argument before both of them pulled out guns and began shooting at each other. Police found a gun at the scene that may be linked to the shooting.
Police say after he was treated at the hospital, Young was arrested. Charges are pending against both men.
A gold Ford Focus parked at Willis-Knigton North has been impounded. Police believe it may be connected to the incident.
