Prisoners at a Southwest Arkansas jail are back inside the building now, after having been evacuated Thursday afternoon when reports of a fire were made.
The Texarkana, AR Fire Department said an inmate at the Southwest Arkansas Community Correction Center may have lit toilet paper on fire and put it into a vent.
The inmates were moved to an exercise yard for about an hour at the facility in the 500 block of Walnut Street.
There are 475 beds in the residential facility, which is located in Miller County.
