Police: Trio asks burglary victim 'where the kilos?'

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

Officers are looking for three men who broke into a house overnight for what appeared to be a drug rip.

The victim told New Orleans police he was asleep inside his residence in the 2900 block of Southlawn Blvd.

Three men woke him by rolling him out of bed, covering his head with a pillow case and tying him up with zip ties. The men begin to hit the victim in the head and demanded to know "where the kilo's?"

The victim told investigators the men badly damaged his home. They took money from his pants pocket and fled. The victim jumped out of a second floor window to safety.

Police have not released a description of the men wanted for aggravated burglary. The investigation is ongoing.
