LASPCA investigating animal cruelty at Lafreniere Park

METAIRIE, LA (WVUE) -

The Louisiana SPCA is offering a $1,000 reward in a case of animal cruelty at Lafreniere Park.

According to the LASPCA, a good Samaritan Tuesday witnessed two young rabbits thrown from a car window in Lafreniere Park.

Both rabbits suffered from broken legs and are pregnant. 

The rabbits are under the care of Dr. Gregory Rich at the West Esplanade Veterinary Clinic.

The LA/SPCA is offering a $1,000 reward to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator(s).
