SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Shreveport will be the backdrop of a new film about camping, and the production team is looking for some locals to cast.

"Campin' Buddies," is a comedy about friends who hit the great outdoors and find out they're not very good at it. One character, trying to raise money for her record, scams two men who are also facing various obstacles on their camping trip.

They also encounter the "shimmy shams," a disease that makes victims shake uncontrollably.

If you're interested in being an extra in a scene, head out to Fox Creek Farms at 7 a.m. on May 16. You'll only be needed for a few hours.

Show up in your best country-style clothes, with plain tops, camouflage colors, plaids, earth tones, caps and denim. You'll want to eat breakfast first and bring two extra clothing options.

Fox Creek Farms is located at 12004 Ellerbe Road in Shreveport. You can park on the racetrack.
