Fort Mitchell Police: SUV injured motorcyclist, fled scene

FORT MITCHELL, KY (FOX19) -

Fort Mitchell Police are attempting to identify vehicle and motorist involved in a hit-and-run accident at 10:15 p.m. Sunday on Buttermilk Pike that injured a motorcyclist.

Police said Cory Elam of Crescent Springs exited northbound Interstate 75 at Buttermilk Pike on a motorcycle. A black-colored SUV, possibly an Acura MDX, sideswiped Elam and fled the scene, police said. The SUV traveled west on Buttermilk Pike toward Villa Hills. 

Elam was taken by ambulance to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with multiple injuries.
