NASH, TX (KSLA) -

The search continues for a man wanted in connection with a murder in Nash, Texas on Sunday.

It happened at the Pine Ridge Estates trailer park late Sunday night, where a man was found shot to death. Police say the victim was shot multiple times. The victim has not been identified.

The suspect has been identified as James Austin Friend. Police say Friend got into an argument with his estranged wife's boyfriend last night. Friend then reportedly pulled out a gun and shot him. Police say Friend allegedly did this while his estranged wife and three children were in the home. Friend left the scene shortly after the shooting and got into a car he parked somewhere else.

Local and state police have been searching in an area near Kings Highway between Proetz Lane and Highway 82 on the ground and from the air. The Texas DPS helicopter being used in the search was grounded around 1 a.m. due to increasing cloud cover, however.

Police are warning the public that Friend should be considered armed and dangerous.
