East Texas man arrested for falsely claiming lottery prize

LAKEPORT, TX (KLTV) -

An East Texas man is jailed for allegedly trying to falsely claim a lottery prize.

Police arrested 57 year old Douglas Brown at a residence Saturday near Lakeport. Brown was wanted out of Smith county for fraud, in attempting to falsely claim a lottery prize.

He remains in the Gregg county jail on 25-thousand dollars bond.
