LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) -

A Lake Charles church will be filming soon for its part in the upcoming television series "The Preachers of LA."

The live taping will take place on May 12 and 13, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and services beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Tabernacle of Praise Worship Center, located at 307 Deshotel Lane.

The church was deeply shaken when Pastor Ronald Harris Sr. was shot while preaching last year.

The featured speaker at the filming event will be Bishop Noel Jones with City of Refuge. Guest artists Deitrick Haddon with City of Refuge and Cody Holley are also set to attend.

The public is invited to attend.
