Partners with Prescott House for Weekend Event
MADISON, Miss., May 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Mugshots Grill & Bar is gearing up for the mid-May opening of their second Alabama location in the new entertainment district in downtown Birmingham with a fundraising weekend to benefit the Prescott House Child Advocacy Center. "At every Mugshots location, we're committed to giving back to our communities through our 'Eat Good, Give Back' program," said Mugshots Grill & Bar founder, Chris McDonald. "Each and every time you purchase a burger at any Mugshots, a portion of each sale goes to our non-profit organization, Making Life Grand, which donates to local charities and organizations. We're dedicating our special pre-grand opening weekend event exclusively to the Prescott House and to their mission of helping restore the lives of victims of child abuse and neglect. 100% of proceeds from this weekend will benefit Prescott House."
The Prescott House fundraiser at the new Mugshots Grill & Bar is by invitation only. Dates and details for the event and invitations will be posted on the Mugshots Facebook page in the upcoming weeks.
You're Not Just Eating Good...You're Giving Back
At two previous Mugshots Grill & Bar openings in 2013, the company donated over $20,000 to Child Advocacy Centers in Mobile, Alabama and Covington, Louisiana. "The 'Eat Good, Give Back' program was a project years in the making," said Mugshots Grill & Bar Director of Marketing, Will Taylor. "We were very excited to see the success of the event with the two openings last year. Giving back and showing gratitude to our local communities is one of our main priorities, and we look forward to continuing the success of the 'Eat Good, Give Back' program here within the Birmingham area."
"We are humbled and honored to partner with Mugshots Grill & Bar for their upcoming 'Eat Good, Give Back' event," said Prescott House Director, Mary Murphy. "Knowing that Mugshots Grill & Bar and the Prescott House have teamed up together to help make our community a better place to live, work, and play, is truly special."
