LINCOLN COUNTY, TN (WAFF) -

Several schools in Lincoln County were damaged by severe storms that moved across the area Monday.

School officials plan to do a walk through Tuesday of South Lincoln Elementary to assess storm damage. The school sustained so much damage that it appears the building will have to be rebuilt.

Officials said students will have to be relocated to other schools for the last three weeks of school.

As for other Lincoln County Schools, two or three schools were still without power Tuesday morning. Debris and flooding prevented buses from picking up students.

Lincoln County Schools announced classes will be canceled for Wednesday.
