TEXARKANA, AR (KSLA) -

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department is looking for information in connection with a hit and run that left a man injured last Sunday morning.

Police say officers were called to the 5100 block of Mandeville Road around 4 a.m. Sunday, where a man had been hit in the roadway. They say the driver of the vehicle that struck him did not stop, and left the scene.

The man who was hit, who has not been identified, was taken to the hospital.  He has since been treated and released.

Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact Cpl. John Knouse at 903-798-3703 or the Texarkana area CrimeStoppers at 903-793-STOP. Police say a monetary award will be provided pending an arrest.
