BUNKERVILLE, NV (FOX5) -

Nevada's cattle battle has gone from the boiling point to a simmering war of words.

Bunkerville rancher Cliven Bundy's cattle were returned to him last weekend after being rounded up by the Bureau of Land Management.

On Friday, supporters came from near and far to celebrate with the Bundys, taking part in a barbecue with live music.

"I am happy for what Cliven Bundy has done. He has ensured the security for the future of our next generation," supporter Steve Sorenson said.

Sorenson and others wore nametags marked "domestic terrorist," mocking Nevada Sen. Harry Reid's remarks about them during an event in Las Vegas on Thursday.

"I'm wearing it because I am a domestic terrorist, according to Harry Reid. That man needs to get out of office," supporter Larry Crouch said.

"Isn't he (Reid) supposed to protect the life, liberty and property of the people? Isn't he supposed to uphold the Constitution? Harry, why are you not doing your job?" asked Cliven Bundy's son, Ryan Bundy.

Crouch said he was in Bunkerville last weekend when the situation got tense. He said he'll return there if he's needed.

Though the roundup has concluded, the Bureau of Land Management has vowed to pursue the matter in court.
