One suspect is in custody and another remains on the run following violent robberies targeting members of the Amish community in Lawrence County.
Deputies were called on Wednesday to Waterfork Road, where they say an Amish man was the victim of an armed robbery. Around that same time, a hit-and-run was reported involving another Amish resident in which the victim was forced off the road by a motor vehicle.
And a short time after that, another Amish man was the victim of an armed robbery near Dooley Road and Campbellsville Pike.
Investigators say the suspect vehicle in the second robbery matched the one given in the Waterfork Road case.
When deputies were on the scene of the Dooley Road robbery, the victim noticed a vehicle drive by that matched the one driven by the suspect.
Deputies pursued the vehicle, locating it in the area of Anderson Creek Road in Giles County. A woman in the car, 36-year-old Stacey Renee Hancock, of Ethridge, was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.
A second suspect, identified as 40-year-old Jason Matthew Judkins, of Lyndon Lane in Ethridge, remains at large. He is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and 165 pounds with a bald head and numerous tattoos.
Officials say Judkins is considered armed and dangerous.
If you have information about these incidents or know Judkins' whereabouts, call the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department at 931-762-3626.
