SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

A dust-up at the wake of a man recently slain in Shreveport ended with an arrest Friday evening after one man allegedly pulled out a gun.

Shreveport police were called about 7 p.m. to the Bryant Temple Church of Christ in the 6800 block of West Canal Street in the city's Sunset Acres neighborhood. That was where a wake was taking place for Tyrone Youngblood, 30 who was killed last week during a shooting on Valley View Drive.

Officers arrived and learned that there had been an argument before the gun was pulled out.

Police say Rodney Lewis, 31 was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed weapon without a permit.

The fight likely was sparked by emotional tension, Cpl. Marcus Hines said.

No shots were fired, and there were no reported injuries.
