Easter egg hunts, events across Middle TN this weekend


Several communities and organizations across Middle Tennessee are hosting Easter egg hunts and celebrations for families this weekend. See some of the events below:

Saturday, April 19
9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The BounceU of Nashville
2990 Sidco Dr.

Children can bounce around on giant inflatables, decorate Easter bags and then hunt for Easter eggs with a special visit from the Easter Bunny. Saturday, April 19th
11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Cleveland Park
925 North Sixth St., Nashville

Cleveland Park neighborhood is holding its annual Easter egg hunt, and the group Bunny Rescue will teach the kids and their parents that it's not a good idea to give a real bunny as an Easter gift unless you are willing to take on the commitment, saying lots of people see a cute little bunny and get it for Easter, but a few weeks later, realize they don't want to do all the work to take care of it.

Nashville Zoo

The Nashville Zoo is hosting the 16th annual Eggstravaganzoo, which is included with Zoo admission and no reservations needed. The event features 10 egg hunts held throughout the day, plus a special hunt for golden eggs, spring-theme games, a bounce house and face painting. Two Rivers Park, Nashville

The Donelson Fellowship is hosting its annual Easter Egg Eggstravaganza at Two Rivers Park. Admission is free. There will be entertainment, food, games and prizes. Hunt times: 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. For more information, visit: http://www.donelson.org.

Noon to 2 p.m.
Bridgestone Arena
501 Broadway - Fans may enter through the main plaza doors

The Nashville Predators will host an Easter egg Hunt at Bridgestone Arena, with more than 2,000 eggs hidden around the 100-level concourse and in-bowl. There will be free popcorn and Pepsi products, a youth hockey rink, discounts in the Pro Shop and additional fun for the whole family. Limited free parking will be available in the Grand Avenue Garage on Sixth Avenue.
