BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -

Bossier City police now say a black Mercedes driven by a suspect in the theft of a car from Moffitt Audi last week, was not left at the car dealership.

Instead, police say the Mercedes CLS 550, which police believe was stolen from a Holmes Premium Used Cars in Shreveport, was driven away by an unidentified man from Moffitt at the same time the Audi was taken.

That Mercedes remains missing, police said. A constable found the Audi Monday abandoned at a well site off of FM Road 31 near Jeter's Junction in Southeast Panola County, TX.

A story from April 14 incorrectly stated that the Mercedes had been left at Moffitt Audi. Police have previously corrected pintail information saying otherwise.

The white 2014 Audi A7 was taken from Moffitt Audi in the 1900 block of Old Minden Road Friday afternoon and not returned after a test drive, police said. The Audi is valued at $75,000.

The suspect, described as a man, about 240 pounds with curly black hair and tattoos on both arms, was wearing white framed sunglasses. He drove to the dealership in a black Mercedes CLS 550 with black wheels and a black window tint.
