Pro golfer and Albany native Josh Broadaway has turned his Cross Handed Classic into an anticipated event every year in the Good Life City.
This time, country music star Cole Swindell joined in on the fun.
The 12th annual Cross Handed Classic teed off at Doublegate Friday afternoon.
The charity tournament always brings in a good crowd, but especially on a pretty day like Friday.
This year, Broadaway was joined by his buddy, Bronwood native Cole Swindell, who was in town for a concert.
Broadaway says the tournament is always fun, but he's most happy about the help it does for the community.
"My parents and my grandparents raised me to always give back and help out when you can. We've been fortunate enough to have a little success, and I'm just trying to give out and help this community," he says. "Albany's my hometown. It always has a special place in my heart. It's always fun to come back and do something like this."
Swindell performed Friday night at the State Theatre with Highway 55.
