SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

A woman wanted for stealing children's clothes from a Shreveport boutique and stuffing them into her panties has a lengthy arrest record with local police.

In fact, Wanda Thomas, 45, has been in trouble with Shreveport law enforcement 26 times since 1992, police said. Her charges range from having an expired license plate to second degree battery. Others include shoplifting, criminal trespassing and felony theft.

Surveillance video from April 2 showed a woman police said was Thomas stuffing children's clothing under her skirt and into her underwear, hangers and all.

It happened at 1:38 p.m.  at Lil' Miss Priss & Co. Boutique in the 3700 block of Youree Drive. Boutique owner Susie Buchanan said the woman and a male accomplice got away with more than $500 worth of children's clothes.

Thomas is also a suspect in a number of other crimes. The most recent charge against her was in February 2013 for possession of drug paraphernalia and a schedule 2 narcotic, according to police records.

Shreveport police have issued an arrest warrant for Thomas, with one count of felony theft of goods.
