SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

A Shreveport man has been arrested in connection with several incidents of exposure to minors.

Police said on Aug. 8, 2013 Roger Gray, 49 of the 4800 block of Camellia Lane, drove around in a four-door, white Mazda sedan and and got the attention of children playing outside a home in the 800 block of Lark Avenue. Gray, who was reportedly wearing no clothes from the waist down, then called the children to his car and exposed his genitals to them.

Gray also allegedly repeated the offence around March 3 with a young girl who was walking near the intersection of East Kings Highway and Patton Avenue, police said.

Information from both cases led police to link Gray to the crimes. He was taken into custody late last month for the August 2013 charge. A second warrant was signed for his arrest Wednesday, regarding the same incident.

Gray is being held at the Caddo Correctional Center on $200,000 bond. The investigation is ongoing and police expect more charges to be filed.

A deadly virus is threatening the crawfish industry in Southwest Louisiana. It's called white spot syndrome virus and it was first discovered in Thailand, but somehow it made its way to ponds in South Louisiana and specialists are struggling to find the funds to research a solution.  “The catch was increasing and increasing and then it dropped 70% and that's when you saw the dead crawfish floating in the water,” said a crawfish farmer of 34 years, Ian Garbarino.
