A soldier deployed to Afghanistan for the past year surprised his family by returning early from overseas.
A family friend, Scott Kelley helped Mason Miller plan the surprise homecoming.
Miller first went to his father's work, where his dad was in a meeting, which quickly broke up as the father and son locked in a long embrace.
Next, he went to his sister's office where his sister couldn't stop hugging him.
Finally, Miller went to the school where his mom worked and the tears started flowing almost immediately.
"After he got back to the house, we all did what he'd been waiting for the whole year - drink a Guinness and go out to In-and-Out Burger," wrote Kelley on his blog.
