DESOTO PARISH, LA (KSLA) -

The jurors chosen to decide the capital murder trial of Brian Horn have been sworn in, sequestered, and are on their way to DeSoto Parish.

Prosecutors say the trial will begin at 9:30 a.m. Friday morning.

Twelve jurors and three alternates were selected Wednesday from 61 possible jurors in East Baton Rouge Parish.

Horn is accused of kidnapping and killing 12-year-old Justin Bloxom of Stonewall in March of 2010.

DeSoto Parish deputies say the 36-year-old, twice-convicted sex offender and cab driver posed as a 15-year-old girl via text message to lure Bloxom out of a friend's house in March 2010. The boy's body was found in a wooded area along U.S. Highway 171 the next day.

Jury selection was originally supposed to begin in June of 2013 in Lafayette, but delays in the trial pushed it back.
