SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

The social media pages of both Alicia Benefield and Rodris Webster may give a glimpse into their relationship.

Family members have described it as violent.

Alicia Benefield, 19, was found dead Tuesday night after having been missing for four days. Her boyfriend Rodris Webster, 25, has been charged with her murder.

"They are so jealous of each other," said Alicia's father Aaron Benefield.

Her family says they witnessed a couple on the brink of losing control.

"She was running from him trying to get away," Tomekia Hudson, Alicia's mom, said.

Psychologist Bruce McCormick said domestic violence relationships are hard to leave and can be fueled by people with very strong feelings for each other.

"Want things to be better, will accept the apology and believe that things will be better, and of course put themselves in a situation that makes them more vulnerable next time," says Mccormick.

KSLA News 12 learned in January, Alicia Benefield filed charges against Webster for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Benefield later dropped those charges.

"Somebody has made a verbal threat to harm you or kill you, you need to take it seriously," says Simone Hennessee with the Providence House in Shreveport.

Hennessee took a look at the Facebook pages of both Rodris Webster and Alicia Benefield. She says these pages show signs of a relationship dealing with domestic violence.

On March 9th, Benefield posted "When a m'f tell me they gone shoot me, You Better Do It OR Die.... It aint Over wit...On LIFE I'm Comin Wit The Come On," she says.

Days after Alicia's disappearance Webster writes, "Alicia was comin to my house even after she put that message on fb..she told me don't worry bout it cuz she ain't want me to get involved...everybody askin me questions..ask the laws the questions."

Rodris Webster is charged with the murder of Alicia Benefield and a charge of a felon in possession of a firearm. His bond is set at $1.5 million.
