Police have arrested a Bossier City man, accusing him of having illicit photos of children on his home computer last week.
This is the second time that Christopher Joseph Leger, 51 has been arrested for the same offense. He was convicted of possession of child pornography more than 10 years ago after an investigation by the Northwest Louisiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, Bossier City police said.
On March 13, detectives with the Bossier City Police Department's Juvenile Unit arrested Leger, after a search warrant executed at his home in the 6200 block of Ox Bow Loop, revealed electronic files of child pornography that Leger downloaded from the Internet, police said.
Police seized computers from Leger's home. He is being held at the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility on $15,000 bond.
The investigation is continuing and more charges against Leger are possible. His 2003 conviction led to his registration as a sex offender.
