As of early afternoon, we are still watching our storm system that will bring showers and thunderstorms later, making its way across west-central Oklahoma and north-central Texas.
This storm system is not expected to arrive until after 6 p.m., but we are tracking closely.
Much of the ArkLaTex is included in a "slight risk" for severe weather by the Storm Prediction Center for this evening. Primary threats will be hail, and damaging winds, but an isolated tornado is possible.
The rest of the afternoon should mainly be dominated by light showers and a few rumbles of thunder. Later this evening, and through the overnight hours is when the most potent storms will roll through.
At this time, there are no watches, warnings, or advisories for any ArkLaTex counties or parishes.
