Texarkana, TX police arrest 17-year-old for aggravated robbery

TEXARKANA, TX (KSLA) -

A 17-year-old Nash man has been arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a convenience store back in January.

Texarkana, Texas police say Richard Darby III went into a store on New Boston Road on January 29 armed with a handgun and wearing a white mask covering his face.

Police say Darby demanded the clerk give him money from the register and a box of cigars before fleeing on foot. He was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon and charged with aggravated robbery.
