Police make arrest in Texarkana, TX shooting

TEXARKANA, TX (KSLA) -

A Texarkana, TX man has been arrested after allegedly shooting a woman as he tried to rob her home last week.

Chase Crawford, 29 was taken into police custody early Thursday morning on a warrant for aggravated robbery. Police said they think Crawford was trying to rob a home March 10 in the 5900 block of Richmond Road, when he shot a woman at the premises.

The victim, 26-year-old Jacqueline King, also of Texarkana, is listed in stable condition at a hospital. Crawford is being held at the Bowie County Correctional Center and no bond has been listed.
