Bordeaux house fire likely arson

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The state Fire Marshal is investigating a suspicious fire at a vacant home in Bordeaux.

Several crews responded to the house fire on Mexico Drive early Sunday morning.

The front door was wide open when firefighters arrived at the scene.

Fire officials say the fire appears to have been set in the basement.

Investigators believe an accelerant was used to spread flames throughout house.

Electricity was running to the building at the time.

No one was hurt in the fire.
