Parkway HS door locks super-glued, BPSO investigating

BOSSIER PARISH, LA (KSLA) -

Someone super-glued all of the locks on every exterior door at Parkway High School sometime overnight or early Friday morning.

Now, the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office is reviewing surveillance video and several arrests are expected.

The vandalism was discovered early Friday morning by Principal Nichole Borugeois as staff began to arrive.

Lt. Bill Davis says the surveillance video shows a group of individuals doing from door to door around the building applying the superglue to the locks.

Davis says the locks on all 40 exterior doors have since been replaced, at an estimated cost of around $5,000 total.

Bossier Parish schools' public liaison Sonja Bailes says the high school is offering a $200 reward for information leading to arrests.
